2020 Nissan Altima exterior changes
The forthcoming 2020 Nissan Altima arrives with minor exterior changes. To be more precise, they are more improvements than the exact changes as the car will look almost the same as its predecessor. The headlights are more upscale and are equipped with the LED units while the V-shape front grille sports the same design but its wider than before. The rear end comes with a sporty bumper and the horizontal taillights. Side profile and the roof will stay intact.
Chrome exhaust pipes are standard even on the base model, and Altima takes a very athletic stance thanks to those changes. 17-inch wheels will remain standard and 18-inch alloys are optional. The moonroof is also available as an option. Overall, Altima is a well-known sedan that sports one of the most beautiful exterior designs in the segment.

This four-door sedan comes with a very comfy interior that can fit up to five persons. The room inside the cabin is great, and both headroom and legroom are ample. The interior looks upscale and sophisticated, and the cloth seats are providing a great comfort.
Leather seats are optional. The visibility is great and the layout of the controls is better than on the previous model. Most of the controls are intuitive as this is one user-friendly family sedan.
Cargo room is above average as the trunk space is rated at 15.4 cubic feet. The 2020 Altima offers a vast of features such as power doors, keyless entry, dual-zone climate control and a push-button start. Safety is better than on the previous model thanks to the all-new cruise control, blind-spot monitoring and cross traffic alert.
2020 Nissan Altima engine, fuel economy and transmission
The approaching 2020 Nissan Altima will ride on two drivetrain options. A 2.5-liter four-cylinder is a standard engine that can produce up to 180 HP and 178 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy is rated at 27 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway.
An optional 3.5-liter V6 generates 270 HP and 252 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy of this one engine is set at 22 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.
Both units will use a new CVT automatic transmission, however, none of those options are offering an all-wheel-drive configuration. Another thing that this family sedan lacks is for sure a hybrid drivetrain. However, a hybrid variant could happen in the coming years as the Altima is the perfect candidate for going all-electric.
