The forthcoming 2019 Nissan Titan XD offers strong engine with great tow rating. Robust frame plus diesel drivetrain are making wonders at the moment for the Japanese carmaker. While the base Titan’s model could be used for many purposes, the Titan XD model is a performance-oriented pickup truck. It comes with a rugged exterior and numerous utility amenities.
On the other hand, this truck is not all about performance as the interior looks modern and it feels comfortable. The 2019 model will see some minor upgrades. Available in a Single, King and Crew Cab setups, the 2019 Titan XD offers a latest Midnight Edition Packages for all three configurations.
2019 Nissan Titan XD exterior is strong and good looking
When you look at the first generation of the Nissan Titan you will realize that there is literally nothing left over. On the other hand, a special version Titan XD is the same as its predecessors. Afterall, it is a truck made to perform so the Japanese automaker finds it unreasonable to change something that looks and works great.
So, the styling is the same as before, extended front overhangs, blocky appearance with bulgy styling cues. On the other hand, the aerodynamics are slightly improved and the overall feel is that the design looks subtle. The equipment, of course, includes more off-road amenities than the base model. The 2019 Nissan Titan XD offers water storage boxes, rear differential, skid plates and 18-inch wheels.
2019 Nissan Titan XD will get plenty of aluminum, chrome and wood accents inside the cabin
Don’t underestimate such a rugged interior on a first look. The 2019 Nissan Titan XD offers a pleasant cabin and Platinum Reserve trim is as good as other luxurious cabins in the pickup segment. Leather seats with the cooling and heating options are standard on the Platinum model, and there is plenty of aluminum, chrome and wood accents inside the cabin.
The base model’s interior is comfy and two-tone cloth materials are looking very nice. The changes are minor, like the door panels that are dressed up in cloth and the plastic materials are now looking more upscale. The dash stays intact, and there is no reason for replacing it. The dashboard is practical and it looks upscale. Nissan Connect is available and it supports the latest mobile connectivity and hands-free text messages.
